Press Release Responsibility 19 April 2012

This year, employees of Hikma Jordan visited the SOS Children's Villages, to take part in renovation activities that included painting doors and maintaining the garden. Children from the SOS Villages were also accompanied by Hikma volunteers on an exciting trip to the Children's Museum in Amman, where they played with the exhibits and carried out some scientific experiments. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to enjoy themselves in a highly educational environment, discovering more about the world around them through fun activities. In addition, an educational lecture was held at Hikma's premises for its employees on cognitive distortions and their impact on personal wellbeing, reinforcing Hikma's commitment to ensuring that its staff is well-informed on the latest healthcare issues.

Commenting on the volunteering day activities, Hana Ramadan, Director of Corporate Communications at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, said: "We are celebrating our fifth annual volunteering day alongside Hikma colleagues in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Portugal, Germany, Italy and the United States. Our objective today is to create bridges to the local community, supporting them in ways that are constructive and really make a difference."
