SR 2025 VIDEO
I am pleased to announce the publication of our 2025 sustainability report. This report highlights our Sustainability Approach and , and our commitment to Acting Responsibly. For 50 years we've focused on producing high-quality medicines and contributing to a healthy society. Our aim is to put better health within reach every day.
Our approach to sustainability rests on four key pillars, at the center, our core pillar of advancing health and wellbeing, and in support are our three pillars on empowering our people, protecting the environment, and operating transparently and ethically.
In 2025, we created a clear and coherent access to medicine strategy and introduced a set of metrics through which we can measure and benchmark our performance.
Globally, we were able to treat more than 222 million patients, which demonstrates the true impact of our efforts. 2025 also saw continued work with our communities by providing educational opportunities, food donations and offering medicines to those most in need. And in total we donated medicines worth more than $2.6m. Community engagement and social responsibility is something that is ingrained in our culture, over the course of the year we reached more than 560,000 people through our community outreach programmes.
We also continued to support out people. Our recently completed People Voice Survey showed employee engagement at 73% and employee enablement at 68%. The results will help guide our employee programmes and help continue to make Hikma a great place to work.
Throughout 2025, we continued to improve our environmental performance, focusing specifically on mitigating our emissions and establishing a more robust approach to water management, particularly in the water scarce countries where we operate. As an example, we established water stewardship and absolute CO2 emission reduction KPIs that link directly to Executive remuneration.
We also opened a new 1MW solar park in Jordan, and have plans to go much further in the coming years.
Finally, we also spent 2025 continuing to focus on ethics and transparency across our value chain, and taking serious measures to safeguard fundamental human rights both in the upstream and downstream parts of our business.
This year, for the first time we asked our key suppliers to rate us on how well we work with them, and how we uphold our own Code of Conduct.
We believe that our high-quality medicines should reach everyone who needs them . This is why we focus on acting responsibly, that means advancing health and wellbeing, empowering our people, protecting the environment, and operating transparently and ethically.
Our guiding framework
Our framework reflects the areas that matter most to our business, our stakeholders and the communities we serve.
At its centre is advancing health and wellbeing. This is fundamental to who we are as a pharmaceutical company and directly connected to our purpose. We work to expand access to high-quality medicines, maintain rigorous standards for product quality and patient safety, and support healthier communities and stronger healthcare systems.
Around this, our three enabling priorities help us deliver our purpose responsibly and sustainably.
Four connected priorities
Advancing health and wellbeing
Access to high-quality medicines is at the heart of our responsibility strategy. We use our global manufacturing footprint, R&D capabilities and partnerships to expand access, respond to changing patient needs and strengthen healthcare systems.
Empowering our people
Our people make our purpose possible. We are building a culture where people can grow, contribute and belong — supported by opportunities to develop their skills, prioritise their wellbeing and build meaningful careers.
Protecting the environment
We are working to reduce the environmental impact of our operations through greater energy efficiency, renewable energy, responsible water management and continuous improvement across our manufacturing network.
Upholding ethical standards and acting with integrity
We operate within a strong governance and compliance framework designed to promote ethical decision-making, accountability and transparency across our business and value chain.
Responsibility in action
Our commitment is backed by action and measurable progress.

Making progress, transparently
We set objectives, measure our progress, listen to our stakeholders and identify where we need to do more. Our sustainability priorities are informed by our assessment of the issues that are most important to our business and stakeholders, as well as where Hikma can have the greatest positive impact. We report our progress transparently through our annual Sustainability Report and Annual Report, alongside regular updates throughout the year. As our business and the healthcare environment evolve, so will our approach. Our ambition is clear: to grow our business responsibly while continuing to put better health within reach, every day.
