Tobias Hestler
Independent Non-Executive Director
Experience: Tobias was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in August 2026. He is a transformation-oriented former FTSE 100 CFO and board-level finance leader, with three decades of experience across healthcare, consumer health, generics, biosimilars and animal health. He brings significant public company, financial leadership, capital markets, governance, audit and risk experience. Tobias was Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Haleon plc from its listing as an independent FTSE 100 company in 2022 until 2024, having previously served as CFO designate of Haleon and CFO of GSK plc’s Consumer Healthcare Joint Ventures. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership roles at Novartis, including CFO of Sandoz, Novartis Consumer Health and Hexal. Tobias is also active in mentoring senior leaders and championing LGBTQ+ representation and inclusion.
Qualifications: Lic.oec.HSG (Master’s equivalent) in Finance & Accounting from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Other appointments: Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of Convatec plc and Alliance Pharma, Treasurer and Trustee of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and Advisory Board Member of Aristo Pharma GmbH.
