Hikma Pharmaceuticals puts access to medicines at the heart of its sustainability strategy, reaching 222 million patients worldwide
London, 4 June 2026 – Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC, today published its 2025 Sustainability Report – Acting Responsibly – reaffirming access to medicine as the cornerstone of its sustainability strategy and its leading sustainability pillar. In 2025, Hikma treated 222 million patients globally, launched 84 new products and invested $197 million in manufacturing capacity.
The report also provides an update on Hikma’s three other sustainability pillars – people, the environment and ethics and governance. On people, the company achieved a 73% employee engagement score and increase in average training hours to 7.9 per employee. On the environment, Hikma reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 18% against its 2020 baseline – on track to achieve its 25% 2030 target – and expanded its renewable energy capacity by 354% since 2021. On ethics and governance, 99% of employees completed Code of Conduct training and 92% of surveyed suppliers demonstrated strong alignment with Hikma's Supplier Code of Conduct.
