To help prepare young under-represented U.S. students for promising careers, Hikma's Black Employees Advisory Board recently piloted a community program to build skills in STEM - science, technology, engineering and math. The students loved the experience and the results were encouraging and heartwarming. Hikma has expanded the program to Summit, NJ and Anderson, IN, in partnership with Purdue University, and this week 60 new K 5-8 students will take part in a similar 13-week STEM education program.
