At Hikma, our people are our most valuable asset. Empowering our global workforce is at the centre of our focus, and we want to encourage the smartest and most creative minds to choose a career with us.
No matter which country you will work in, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, expertise, and cultures, expanding your knowledge and helping you to realise your potential.
What do we offer?
Our benefits meet the needs of our geographically diverse workforce. They are benchmarked against industry standards and relevant to each role.
They are designed to recognise everyone’s contribution. They are comprehensive and include a competitive salary, benefits programmes for you and your family, and a performance and development programme to help identify the needs and behaviours required to achieve success.
Here are some of our key benefits:
Paid time off
Everyone at Hikma is entitled to paid time off – in line with applicable laws and regulations. This is important because we believe that taking holiday helps people keep healthy, both physically and mentally, and have a good work-life balance.
Learning programmes
We enable everyone to take ownership of their development and growth, reaching their full potential and contributing to business growth. We offer everyone, at every level, flexible learning resources. That’s why we we’ve made more than 40,000 digital learning resources available to employees.
Paid parental leave
At Hikma, all eligible employees are entitled to paid parental leave to help them focus on their family.
Compensation packages
We provide compensation packages that are benchmarked against industry standards and relevant to each role.
Performance and development management
Career development is important to us. We support regular feedback to enable people to take ownership of their development and growth.
Educational assistance programmes
We provide Hikma-sponsored programmes to support people to learn new skills and pursue additional degrees and certifications.
Diversity and inclusion
Creating an inclusive workplace aligned with our Hikma values is fundamental to us. Our people know that their differences contribute to our ongoing success.
We created a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee which provides strategic direction, leadership and supports delivery of our equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Diversity training: our top leaders are trained to help them reflect on their own behaviours, recognise and challenge bias and advance systemic change on inclusion.
- HR policies: our global recruitment policy encourages managers to consider a diverse pool of candidates and our international assignments policy aims to facilitate employee mobility within Hikma.
- Employee Resource Groups: we have an official Employee Resource Group programme in place. It was started with the US Black Employees Advisory Board and the Hikma Women’s Network. These groups are open to everyone in our organisation. They create more formal opportunities to foster a sense of community, cultural awareness and a sense of belonging.
- Global engagement campaigns: we drive and implement internal campaigns to recognise our communities, such as International Women’s Day, Ramadan, Juneteenth, Black History Month and many more.
