The first and largest is our Branded business, which focuses on the MENA region. In this business we manufacture and sell Branded generic pharmaceuticals – for example, we sell a generic version of GSK’s Augmentin under our own Hikma brand name – AMOCLAN. We also have 33 branded products, many of which are still under patent, that we sell under-license from the originator.

Generics

Our Generics business operates in the competitive US market. We develop, manufacture and market non-branded generic pharmaceutical products. As this market is extremely competitive, we operate as a niche player, selling a broad mix of both high and low volume products.

Injectables

Our second largest business is the Injectables business. We develop, manufacture and market generic injectable pharmaceuticals as well as some branded injectable products under-licence. This business is geographically diverse with sales into US, MENA and Europe.
